Majestic Cottonwood Trees Tingley Beach Albuquerque RET DSC_7107 by Dick Thompson Sandian

Ducks and Geese abound at Tingley Beach in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My friend Lou Feltz (Deserttoad) and I spent a warm afternoon (January 22,2016) photographing birds on several different ponds that also provide fishing for local residents. Clyde K. Tingley was a U.S.politician who served as the 11th Governor of the State of New Mexico. He was a children's healthcare advocate .A beach in Albuquerque was named in his honor and a children’s hospital was named after his wife, Carrie Tingley. The beach is a very peaceful and colorful spot to spend a few hours of leisure.
Tingley Beach is a tourist attraction, one of the Parks in Old Town, United States. It is located: 6 km from Albuquerque, 25 km from South Valley, 33 km from North Valley. Read further
