An old abandoned Prussian fortress just outside of Kostrzyn, in Poland near the German border.
The was completed in 1887, used as a prison and labour camp during the world wars, and was taken uncontested by the Red Armee. The extensive damage was due to the location being used to detonated unexploded ordinance after the second world war.
