The city’s main tourist attraction, including the Magna Carta & extensive views from the walls. The Victorian gaol also comes to life during holiday periods with actors playing the roles of prisoners.

Make sure you climb up to the wall and the watch towers, the view on a clear day is superb. I also got engaged there so, it has a very special meaning for me.

Home to one of the original Magna Carta copies. The prison tour is interesting, especially the convict boxes in the chapel.

Lincoln Castle is the only place where you can see both the Magna Carta and the Charter of the Forest together in the world. Take a guided tour to see for yourself!
